Job summary

Diyar United Company in Muscat seeks an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare statements, and support budgeting and reporting.

You will ensure compliance with local and international standards, collaborate with auditors, and drive accuracy in monthly closings and financial analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP and Oracle accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts; ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide required documentation.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis.
