Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is hiring four part-time Drive Thru Team Members on fixed term contracts through December 2026 and January 2027. Roles involve delivering exceptional customer service, providing product information, stock replenishment, and Drive Thru operations including checkout duties.

Applicants should be physically capable of lifting and handling items and must have a valid NZ driver's licence. Experience in customer service is preferred.

A bit about the role…

We have fourpart-time (Fixed) Team member positions available in the Drive Thru:

1. x2 Sunday and Monday (16 Hours a week)

2. x2 Friday and Saturday (16 Hours a week)

All of the above positions are Fixed Term and you must be available throughout December 2026 and January 2027

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Delivering exceptional Customer Service
• Providing technical product information to customers
• Picking, loading and Stock replenishment
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised Drive Thru area
• Working efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Working across the Drive Thru area, including checkout duties and managing access through the security gate. Full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be highly organised and able to work at a fast pace.

In addition, we are ideally seeking:

• Good physical fitness to unload, lift, carry and move heavy items.
• Customer service experience preferred but not a requirement
• Valid Full New Zealand Driver Licence, (F) Forklift endorsements preferred but not required
• Current OSCH Forklift Certificate, or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge or interest to learn about all the products.
• Knowledge of relevant legislative governances e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act, and act in accordance with them.
• Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within retail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers.
• IT competency.
