Job summary

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Wellington-based) seeks a Workspace Lead to manage workspace and service contracts across Wellington and Auckland. You will support the wider property team and deliver proactive, compliant facilities management to enable a productive workplace.

Key responsibilities include partnering with business units, coordinating maintenance with suppliers, budgeting for facilities, and advising on sustainability and future workspace needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in workspace management or facilities management.
• Solid understanding of the Building Act and compliance codes.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge relating to built environments and contractor management.
• Procurement and ongoing contract management experience.
• Good organisational and time management skills, with project management exposure.
• Financial acumen for budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to deliver workplace solutions that meet operational needs and enhance employee experience.
• Oversee workspace and building environments, coordinate inspections, and manage maintenance and improvement projects with suppliers.
• Manage property-related activities through to completion and keep stakeholders informed.
