Job summary

Master Automotive Repair Limited in Auckland is seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee staff, workflow and customer service in our busy automotive workshop.

This permanent full-time role requires at least 1 year of management experience and a Bachelor\'s degree in business or related field. You will manage budgets, inventory, and safety compliance, and report on performance.

Remuneration is NZD 30-35 per hour with standard hours 30-45 per week, based at our Onehunga workshop.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the automotive repair workshop.
• Supervise and allocate work to mechanics and workshop staff.
• Manage workflow, job scheduling and vehicle turnaround times.
• Recruit, train and manage employee performance.
• Manage workshop budgets, operating costs, purchasing and inventory.
• Oversee customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Monitor service quality, productivity and operational performance.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors and other external service providers.
• Monitor and report operational and financial performance to the Business Owner.
