Job summary

Auto Super Shoppe Kapiti is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for full-time or part-time hours. Join a trusted workshop with a supportive team, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth.

You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform WOF inspections, and uphold high workmanship standards while delivering excellent customer service. NZ residency or valid work rights is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Experience across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence (or international equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic, servicing, and repair skills.
• Current WOF Authority preferred, or eligible to obtain one.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-player mindset.
• Must currently be in New Zealand and hold NZ residency or valid work rights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
• Perform Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and meet agreed timeframes
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Operate workshop equipment and tools safely and correctly
• Report directly to the Workshop Controller/Director
