Job summary

Diesel Agencies in New Zealand seeks a practical Workshop Assistant to join our workshop. You will prepare and paint generator panels, clean and prepare generators and equipment, and assist technicians in a fast-paced environment.

You will use hand and power tools, perform basic grinding and fabrication work, help with deliveries, and contribute to keeping the workshop and yard well-organised.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working around machinery.
• Competent in the safe use of an angle grinder.
• Practical, hands-on, reliable and safety conscious.
• Willing to help wherever needed.
• Previous workshop, painting, engineering, mechanical or trade experience would be useful.
