Access Specialties in Auckland is seeking a Paint Prepper / Workshop Assistant to prepare EWPs and other machinery for painting and refurbishment.
You will perform water blasting, degreasing, sanding and masking, ensuring surfaces are ready for a high-quality finish. The role is hands-on, fits a practical team player, and offers a stable, Kiwi-owned workplace with its own workshop. Hours are Mon-Fri 6:30am-4:00pm, 45 hours per week, with occasional Saturday work.

We work with a wide range of leading machinery brands and support customers throughout New Zealand. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Paint Prepper / Workshop Assistant to join our Auckland team.
This is a hands-on workshop position preparing EWPs and other machinery for painting and refurbishment.
You will be responsible for ensuring machinery and components are thoroughly prepared so they are ready for a high-quality paint finish. The work is varied and includes everything from smaller components through to large access machines.
Experience with spray painting, abrasive blasting, panel preparation, rust treatment or machinery refurbishment would be beneficial but is not essential. Training can be provided for someone with the right attitude and practical ability.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4:00pm, totalling 45 hours per week. Some Saturday work may also be required when needed.
