Fidelity Life is seeking a proactive Workplace Services Coordinator based in Auckland CBD to create an exceptional employee and visitor experience. The role is full-time and office-based, with responsibilities spanning greeting visitors, coordinating day-to-day operations, and managing service providers to keep the workplace functioning smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Experience in workplace services, facilities coordination, office administration, reception, or a similar operational role.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, maintenance, security, access management, or workplace services.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to build positive relationships with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong administration, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety, risk, security, and compliance requirements.

We're looking for a Workplace Services Coordinator to help create an exceptional experience for our people and visitors every day. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. From greeting visitors and supporting team events, to coordinating contractors, managing workplace systems, and ensuring our office operates smoothly, you'll play a key role in making Fidelity Life a great place to work. Due to the nature of the role, you will be based full time in our beautiful offices in the Auckland CBD.

What you'll be doing

As our Workplace Services Coordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring our workplace is welcoming, safe, well-managed, and supports our people to do their best work.

This will include:

  • Ensuring our workplace meets health, safety, security, environmental, and compliance requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong organisation and coordination skills with a genuine passion for people and service.

You'll likely have:

  • Experience in workplace services, facilities coordination, office administration, reception, or a similar operational role.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, maintenance, security, access management, or workplace services.
  • A strong customer service mindset and the ability to build positive relationships with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong administration, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
  • An understanding of workplace health and safety, risk, security, and compliance requirements.

It would also be great if you have:

  • A qualification or training in facilities management, workplace services, business administration, health and safety, or a related field.
  • Workplace First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain this).
  • Experience as a Fire Warden or involvement in emergency response processes.
  • Exposure to business continuity planning, audits, workplace events, or sustainability initiatives.
