Job summary

PwC NZ in Auckland is seeking a People & Culture Operations specialist to join our team. The role blends Workday administration, data governance, reporting and analytics to keep our people systems accurate, secure and insightful for decision-making across New Zealand.

You will translate business needs into practical system improvements, design Power BI dashboards and reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted insights and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a related discipline, with an Information Systems degree desirable.
• At least 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years of systems analysis experience.
• A working understanding of Workday functionality and strong capability in report building, system integration and data analysis.
• High proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft platforms and Workday, together with experience maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate New Zealand requirements, system changes, releases, enhancements and issue resolution with the global Workday team.
• Administer Workday business processes, system dependencies, security access, roles and permissions in line with security and privacy requirements.
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of employee and organisational data through dashboards, controls, audits and reconciliations.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, translating business questions into clear analysis of workforce trends, risks and opportunities.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements, including automation and self-service capability, while providing practical guidance to stakeholders.
