Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates in Marlborough (Matua Winery) seeks a Production and Operational Excellence Manager to lead winery operations and drive continuous improvement. This role ensures safe, efficient and compliant execution while embedding data-led decision making and sustainable performance improvements.

You will lead systems, people and improvement initiatives, reporting to the Site Operations Manager - Matua, and collaborating with Winemaking, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain to optimise

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations within a winery or FMCG/manufacturing environment.
• Proven throughput and labour productivity improvements.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient and compliant winery operations, achieving production targets.
• Drive Operational Excellence using Lean, problem solving and data-led decisions.
• Lead large, seasonal workforce; develop capability and engagement.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve flow, throughput and reliability.
• Champion safety, quality and environmental compliance and audits.
• Collaborate with Winemaking, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Drive site improvement projects on productivity, cost reduction and sustainability.
