Job summary

Talent is seeking a technically capable Field Service Technician to support our enterprise client across Greymouth and the wider West Coast region. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing hardware at customer sites to ensure continuity of operations and high customer satisfaction.

This is a three-month contract with potential extension, and offers flexibility for part-time hours alongside other commitments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware maintenance or repair experience.
• Experience repairing PCs, ATMs or electronic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Willingness to travel across the West Coast and have own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair hardware equipment.
• Attend customer sites across the West Coast territory.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Minimise disruption to customer operations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide professional onsite service.
• Accurately record completed work and provide service updates.
