Job summary

Talent International – Greymouth, on the New Zealand West Coast, seeks a Customer Engineer to install, maintain and repair hardware for enterprise clients across Greymouth and surrounding areas.

The role involves travelling to Hokitika, Greymouth, Westport, Reefton and nearby sites. A valid NZ driver’s license, car and insurance are essential. Part-time hours (minimum 20 per week) between 8am–5pm. Initial contract of 3 months, with potential extensions.

We are looking for a Customer Engineer (IT Technician, hardware engineer, IT engineer) to join our enterprise client.

This position is responsible for providing installation, maintenance and repairs on hardware equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Location: based in Greymouth and West Coast region - you will be required to travel to different sites not limited to Hokitika, Greymouth, Westport, Reefton and surrounding areas.

You must have a reliable car, your own insurance and a full clean drivers license.

Contract length: 3 months initially, may extend but not guaranteed

Hours: minimum of 20 hours per week between the hours of Monday - Friday 8am-5pm - however there could be the opportunity for further hours.

Required skills:

• Hardware maintenance experience is essential (fixing PCs or machinery)
• Technology Savvy
