Job summary

ASNZL is seeking a Security Technician to cover the West Coast region from Greymouth north to Karamea, working independently with support from the Canterbury team. You will install, commission, maintain and fault-find CCTV, access control, intruder detection and automation systems, while building strong client relationships and providing technical advice.

Based in Greymouth with relocation support possible, you will travel to customer sites, manage service work and documentation, and assist with

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in the electronic security industry.
Proven experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Detection systems.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads effectively.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
Full New Zealand Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, maintain and fault-find security systems across customer sites.
Build strong client relationships and provide technical advice.
Manage site visits, service work and job documentation.
Assist with system scoping, quotations and project planning.
Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and health & safety.
