Job summary

Arvida Group in New Zealand seeks a Wellness Partner to support residents with personal care needs and promote resident-led decisions. You will work as part of a caring team to encourage independence in eating, movement, and activities, while documenting health conditions and participating in ongoing training.

This role requires weekend and night shifts, a friendly attitude, and strong teamwork. Training and mentorship are provided in a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least two years’ of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4).
• Evidence of English test is required if from overseas.

Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions Participation in ongoing training is expected.

We will be interviewing and screening NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority before looking internationally.

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 1 to Level 3)
$23.95 to $30.20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

• Evidence ofEnglish test is required if from overseas

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 3 to Level 4)
$28.25 to $32.20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
