Job summary

Arvida is seeking Wellness Partners to enrich residents’ lives by supporting personal care and encouraging independence in daily activities. You will partner with residents to support eating, resting, movement, communication and activities, in a respectful, resident-led environment.

Observation, documentation of health conditions, and participation in ongoing training are part of the role. Availability for rostered weekends and nights is required to ensure continuous care.

• NZ residents/citizens prioritized in shortlisting.
• Commitment to high standard of care and diligence.
• Ability to work in a team with residents and staff.
• Honesty, energy and enthusiasm in a caring role.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily activities.

Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions Participation in ongoing training is expected.
