Job summary

AECOM’s Wellington office is seeking an experienced Manager for Transmission & Distribution. You will lead a diverse team of engineers and designers, shaping delivery, culture and client outcomes in a multi-disciplinary setting.

You will mentor talent, balance project priorities and drive commercial success while coordinating with NZ and Australia stakeholders. AECOM values flexibility and inclusion in a dynamic energy practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an established team of engineers and designers.
• Experience in T&D design, delivery or client relationship management in NZ T&D sector.
• Commercially minded, client focused with strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management across multi-discipline projects.
• Experience working with remote teams, including cross-border collaboration.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and collaboration to develop high performers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a broad team of electrical engineers, designers and delivery managers.
• Shape team culture with focus on purpose, capability, excellence, collaboration and diversity.
• Develop, mentor and attract talent while ensuring accountability and strong commercial performance.
• Manage client relationships and deliver value across projects in NZ and Australia as required.
