Cromwell Architectural Envelopes Limited is seeking a motivated Welder Engineer Fabricator to deliver high-end welding and manufacturing projects in our sheetmetal workshop and on-site in the Queenstown Lakes District, Otago region.

You will weld and fabricate steel, aluminium, copper and other materials from drawings, joinery where needed, and work as part of a team to meet deadlines. The role offers an excellent training path and competitive remuneration based on experience.

Competenze

Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience in welding and engineering.
A tertiary qualification in welding or engineering would be preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
Work un-supervised, motivated and self-dependent.
Review procedures, processes and documentation.
Measure, cut and weld according to specifications, drawings and blueprints.
Maintain a clean and orderly work space.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

Welding & fabricating a variety of steel products using mild metal, aluminium and sheetmetal from drawings.
Handling, cutting, and assembling steel, aluminium, copper, brass and other roofing & cladding materials.
Experience in aluminium joinery fabrication, ideally with a relevant trade qualification.
An integral part of the larger team producing quality work and ensuring good workflow to meet deadlines.
