Job summary

Tradestaff in Tauranga is seeking experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our team. You’ll work on a variety of projects using MIG, TIG and ARC welding with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.

Based in the Bay of Plenty with potential travel to Auckland, Wellington, Waikato and Hawke’s Bay regions, this role offers reliable hours and a safety‑focused, supportive environment for skilled professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience.
• NZQF Level 4 qualification or overseas qualification recognised by NZQA.
• Proficient across MIG, TIG and ARC welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and fabrication across diverse projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Perform high-quality welds using MIG, TIG, and ARC techniques.
• Shape, bend, and assemble components for both light and heavy fabrication work.
• Join components through welding, bolting, or riveting.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
