Located 10 minutes’ drive south of Rotorua CBD, Red Stag Timber is an industry leader when it comes to producing quality structural timber products. The Company operates New Zealand’s largest sawmill and is a well-established and successful business, employing over 400 staff & contractors.
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team on a permanent basis on the Weekend Shift. This is a hands‑on position to apply sound mechanical maintenance process knowledge, and work with our experienced Weekend Maintenance Team. The team provides critical support to ensure plant and machinery is maintained effectively, ensuring reliability to run production shifts in all operational areas including the Sawmill, Planers, Remanufacturing, Kilns & Treatment plants.
To be successful you will:
Hours of work for this position are Thursday – Sunday, 6.00am – 4.30pm, with additional hours as overtime (T1.5) if required. Work hours on a Saturday and Sunday attract premium rates (T1.33) as well as Shift Leave.
Monday to Wednesday are regular rostered days off.
