Job summary

New Zealand Red Cross is seeking a Channel Manager with responsibilities spanning supplier/ stakeholder relations, UX, accessibility, and digital integration. The role also acts as content lead, overseeing a community of around 50 content leads to keep content current, engaging, and best-practice driven.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a web channel is aligned with plain-English content.
• Build, train and maintain a community of around 50 content owners.
• Oversee creation, editing and publishing of content including CMS management.
• Provide guidance on accessibility, privacy and security.
• Champion digital ideas to senior leaders with analytics.
• Create and maintain documentation guides and processes.
• Oversee third‑party integrations including payments and data transfer (SharePoint).
• Manage third-party vendors and hosting arrangements.
• Oversee ongoing development of the website.
• Drive a shared vision for web/digital integrating technology, brand and marketing.
