Job summary

Watercare in Māngere is seeking a Serviceperson to join our Maintenance Services Network in Auckland. You will work on installations, repairs, and maintenance of water pipes, meters, and hydrants, interacting with customers and the public. This role includes on-call standby rosters and requires a full NZ Driver’s Licence and the ability to operate hand tools and small plant equipment. Qualifications

• Requires relevant experience in water/utilities sector
• Strong focus on customer service and safety
• Ability to operate hand tools and small equipment
• On-call roster commitment approximately every 5 weeks and some weekend rosters

Responsibilities

• Installations and repair of water mains, hydrants, and meters
• Relocate existing water connections
• Maintenance of water networks
• Operate small diggers and loaders for excavations and backfill
• Undertake minor infrastructure upgrades
