Ecolab is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across New Zealand's food and beverage manufacturing sector. This hunter role focuses on winning new business, developing strategic opportunities and building long-term partnerships with mid-market manufacturers.

You will identify, develop and secure new customers, deliver tailored water treatment solutions, and collaborate with technical and operations teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of generating new business and building lasting customer relationships.
• Experience selling into manufacturing environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and win new food and beverage manufacturing customers across New Zealand.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers across operations, engineering, maintenance, sustainability and plant leadership teams.
• Lead sales presentations, commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Develop territory and account penetration strategies to maximise growth opportunities.
• Maintain market awareness, competitor insight and industry knowledge.
