Job summary

WSP is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead – Water in New Zealand. The role is based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch, and focuses on leading digital delivery for water projects, modelling, design and technical outputs.

You will establish consistent modelling standards, act as a technical advisor to the Water Leadership Team, drive tool and process improvements, and coach project teams nationwide, while advancing ISO 19650-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• :Extensive experience in digital engineering within infrastructure or water, including Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D.
• Lead and embed digital delivery standards, workflows, and quality practices across teams.
• Hands‑on approach, with the ability to contribute directly to project delivery while coaching others.
• Experience supporting or leading digital transformation initiatives within engineering environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at both project and leadership level.
• A passion for innovation and continuous improvement in digital delivery.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
