Job summary

Chardikala in Auckland is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, organised and prepared for delivery safely.

This hands-on role suits someone physically fit, able to work independently or in a team, with 2+ years in warehouse stock management and a forklift certificate. Weekend and day/night shifts are available.

You will weigh, label, scan and track items, maintain a clean workspace and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse/retail stock management experience.
• Forklift Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles.
• Check incoming goods for damage and discrepancies.
• Label goods with storage location details.
• Use software to record location and quantity of items in stock.
• Weigh and measure volume of goods for distribution.
• Check allocated bays, scan packed items and examine orders for delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow Health and Safety procedures.
• Prepare delivery schedules.
