Job summary

Temperzone Limited in Auckland is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to join our busy team, ensuring accurate picking, packing and timely delivery of orders within a fast-paced environment.

You will operate RF scanners, fork lifts, and warehouse systems, follow FIFO and 5S principles, and help with loading, staging, and stock control. A current driving licence and forklift certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Current Class 1 Driver Licence.
• Certifications for counterbalance forklift, reach forklift, and order picker.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and branch orders with accuracy and care.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to ship orders and update stock.
• Receive goods from Production, check them off, and put them into correct warehouse locations.
• Prepare labels, consignment notes, and manifests using SmartFreight.
• Help load and stage goods for carriers, freight companies, and customer collections.
• Keep stock organised by following FIFO, 5S, and warehouse best practices.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures and reporting hazards or incidents.
• Support general warehouse duties such as tidy‑up tasks, export container loading, and yard maintenance.
