Job summary

Bidfood Queenstown is seeking a motivated Dayshift Warehouse Assistant to support our warehouse operations in Queenstown, New Zealand. You will pick, pack and load wholesale food orders from dry, chill, freezer and fresh produce areas, while assisting with receiving, checking and storage of inwards goods.

The role requires lifting up to 25 kg and standing for extended periods; forklift experience is preferred and training/licensing support will be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse tasks including picking, packing and loading.
• Forklift experience preferred; training and license support provided if needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store products in the warehouse following safety protocols.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and updates.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
