Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Receiver and Dispatcher for our client in Queenstown, SA. You will manage inbound and outbound goods, verify quantities, and ensure accurate recording in the WMS. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and safe handling of items through the warehouse.

The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely deliveries and inventory accuracy for regional distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse, logistics or receiving/dispatch experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory control and basic WMS is advantageous.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and verify quantities and quality against orders.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report issues promptly.
• Record received goods into WMS or inventory logs accurately.
• Store received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling as specified.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with transportation providers.
• Maintain records of all outgoing shipments and confirmations.
• Keep loading dock area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies during receiving and dispatch operations.
