UPG Pipe Systems in Porirua, Wellington is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a full‑time role within our manufacturing and distribution team. You’ll help receive, store and dispatch products, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate stock control while maintaining safe work practices.

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join the team at UPG Pipe Systems in Porirua, Wellington. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to become a key part of our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products within our facility. Your contribution will be vital to maintaining our high standards of service and supporting the smooth running of our logistics operations.
Receiving and unloading goods, checking for accuracy and product condition
Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to move and stack materials safely
Organising and storing products in designated locations within the warehouse
Picking and packing orders for dispatch in line with customer requirements
Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating warehouse management systems
Preparing shipments for transport, including labelling and documentation
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Conducting regular stock counts and assisting with cycle counting activities
Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily operational targets and deadlines
Proven experience working as a Warehouse Operator or in a similar warehousing role
Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory
Ability to work safely and adhere to health and safety procedures
Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy items regularly
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems
