Job summary

Advanced Personnel Services – Christchurch, South Island is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced operation. You balance hands-on warehouse activities with people development, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time deliveries.

You will coach a team of about six, maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate daily operations, and work with a supportive leadership team. Forklift licence and experience with Reach Truck/Stock Picker and heights is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Current forklift licence and confidence operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Experience with Reach Truck/Stock Picker and Working at Heights advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, positive and productive warehouse culture.
• Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
• Drive inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation and process compliance.
• Monitor operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure all safety procedures and equipment standards are maintained.
• Support team development through training and ongoing mentoring.

• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Experience with Reach Truck, Stock Picker, MPI requirements or Working at Heights would be advantageous
