Job summary

New Zealand Health Manufacturing (NZHM) is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to join our Auckland-based team. The role supports safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely dispatch of materials and finished goods to uphold quality standards.

Working Monday to Friday, 24 hours across morning or afternoon shifts, with Saturday work possible on request.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Reach forklift licence.
• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Good computer skills and data entry capability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment.
• A positive attitude and team‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials and products
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and inventory information
• Supply materials to production as required
• Pick, pack, and dispatch finished goods and bulk products
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely
• Monitor and maintain warehouse environmental conditions
• Report any issues relating to materials, cleanliness, pests, or storage conditions
• Ensure warehouse areas, loading docks, and storage locations remain clean and organised
• Follow all warehouse, quality, GMP, and health and safety procedures
• Enter and update information within warehouse computer systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
• Support business continuity by assisting with other reasonable duties as required

About the Role

New Zealand Health Manufacturing is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operator to join our Auckland-based team. This hands‑on role is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our warehouse while ensuring products and materials are stored, managed, and dispatched to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with production, quality, and logistics teams, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently.

This role is Monday - Friday 24 hours (3 shifts). Note, shift times are morning shift, 5am - 1:30pm or afternoon shift, 12pm - 8:30pm. Shift times are at your choosing, however once assigned you will need to be consistent with the same shift times.

Saturday work available upon Manager request in addition to the 24 hours.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Essential

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Reach forklift licence
• Counterbalance forklift licence
• Good computer skills and data entry capability
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment
• A positive attitude and team-focused approach

Highly Desirable

• Scissor lift and boom lift certification
• Stock picker experience
• Truck Class 2 Licence
• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience
• Experience within the natural health, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or related industries
