Job summary

Pack Tech Moulding in Rolleston, South Island, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, prioritise work, and coordinate two shifts.

You will ensure compliance with MPI and internal standards, drive continuous improvement, and foster teamwork. Candidates should be proactive, have strong planning and time-management skills, and a high customer focus. Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.

Togethr 2020 Ltd – Rolleston, South Island

Pack Tech Moulding is a manufacturing company based in Rolleston of plastic containers for the food, chemical, nutraceutical, supplement and agricultural industries. The warehouse functions to receive, store and supply all raw materials to production and then receive from production, store and dispatch finished goods to our customers. The workflow between tasks changes day by day so exceptional planning and teamwork is required to satisfy our internal and external customers.

Types of work completed within the warehouse include:
  • Creating purchase orders and receipting in of goods and materials
  • Inventory management work within our ERP system
  • Receiving and ensuring the “fit for purpose” quality of all incoming materials
  • Devanning containers according to our Transitional Facilities Licence
  • Storing all materials and finished products safely and securely
  • Accurately despatching finished products to customers

To do this we operate reach and articulated fork trucks as well as scanners for inventory management. Each team member also works one Saturday per month.

What you will do:

The Warehouse Lead will be a hands-on role with the responsibility to ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and that the warehouse team are actively working together to achieve customer satisfaction.

You will also:
  • Establish clear daily priorities for the warehouse
  • Maintain compliance with all internal and external standards and requirements such as MPI
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset within the warehouse
About you:
  • Able to work as a team member on tasks as well as independently
  • Be proactive, great at planning, communicating plans and then executing the plan
  • You will have excellent time management skills
  • Your attention to detail will be next level
  • You will bring an inspiring and motivational attitude or energy to your role
  • You have a high sense of accountability – you always do whats right
  • You constantly think about the customer and how you can make the customer experience seamless and pain free
  • Your communication will be appropriate to the audience, timely and early at all times
  • Have previous leadership experiences (which may not be in a work setting) you can point to
  • Skilled at operating warehouse equipment
