Job summary

HBay Water in Hastings, New Zealand, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our production team. You will operate blow molding, filling, labeling and film wrapping machines, follow the production plan and help maintain product quality.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing or food and beverage experience, can work shifts including nights, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn. Training and career progression opportunities are available in a modern, well-organised facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing or the food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Able to work shifts and night shifts.
• Strong learning ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow molding machines, filling machines, labeling machines, and film wrapping machines
• Complete production tasks according to the production plan
• Monitor product quality and equipment operating status
• Make simple adjustments to equipment parameters
• Clean equipment and complete daily inspections
• Assist maintenance personnel in handling equipment malfunctions

About the role

Operate production equipment such as blow molding machines, filling machines, labeling machines, and film wrapping machines. Complete production tasks according to the production plan, monitor product quality and equipment operating status, and make simple adjustments to equipment parameters.
