Job summary

Cardinal Logistics (NZ) is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced, supportive team in Drury. This permanent full-time role requires a current forklift license and at least one year of forklift driving experience.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 6am–2:30pm, helping move pallets from pick to dispatch and ensuring safe, quality shipments. If you’re physically fit, detail-oriented, and ready for early starts, this is the perfect opportunity to grow with NZ’s leading logistics

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year forklift driving experience with long forks.
• Current forklift or counterbalance certificate.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Stage and preparing pallets for dispatch.
• Loading pallets onto wrapping machines and performing manual wrap as needed.
• Conducting quality checks on outgoing orders.
• Reporting and documenting any damages.

About the role

This role helps ensure the smooth movement of pallets from being picked to when it is dispatched ready to get loaded on the trucks.

Shift: Monday to Friday | 6am - 2:30pm

Key responsibilities
