Job summary

Green Light Recruitment supports Christchurch freight and logistics clients by providing reliable warehouse staff. This role involves unloading containers, moving stock, and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment. Forklift duties are possible for those with experience.

Shifts are flexible and designed to fit around your availability, with weekly pay and potential pathways into permanent roles for reliable workers.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg repeatedly during a shift.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
• Own transport preferred.
• Forklift licence and experience is not essential but preferable.

Responsibilities

• Unload containers in a warehouse environment.
• Move stock safely and efficiently.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Forklift duties may be available for those with experience.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our clients need an extra set of hands. We work with a range of freight and logistics businesses across Christchurch that regularly require reliable workers to unload shipping containers containing a variety of products.

ABOUT THE ROLE
When shifts become available, we’ll contact you to see if you’re free. If you are, you’ll be working in a warehouse environment unloading containers and moving stock safely and efficiently. Forklift duties also available for those experianced.
Shifts typically range from 4–8 hours depending on the size and contents of the container.
