Job summary

Kiwi Lumber Holdings in Masterton is seeking a Dispatch Forklift Operator to support operations. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, on-site with potential bonuses based on production performance.

THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to assist with our operations. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday- 7am to 5pm.

Key duties include:

• Loading and unloading of product.
• Completing relevant documentation.
• Forklift maintenance related duties.
• Assisting the team with other duties as required.

* The role has a direct impact on our production levels and quality and therefore plays an important part in the overall success of the mill.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

MUST have experience with working in Dispatch Operations loading trucks - preferable in a large capacity forklift.

Ideally, you will have:

• One/Two years' experience driving forklifts.
• Experience undertaking manual/physical duties.
• Sound written and numeracy skills.
• Basic computer skills.

You’ll also have a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to undertake work in a safe and efficient way to ensure our health and safety, quality standards and production requirements are met.
