Job summary

AWF Limited in Nelson's Richmond area is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution site. This temporary role offers potential to become permanent for the right person, with safety as a priority.

You will operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, move goods around the site, perform pre-start checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. A strong team player who holds OSH forklift certificate and F Endorsement is essential, with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience.
• Current OSH Forklift Certificate.
• Current F Endorsement.
• Safety-focused and team player.
• Pass pre-employment screening.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving product and materials throughout the site
• Stacking and storing products accurately
• Completing pre-start equipment checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Supporting the wider team with general warehouse and yard duties as required

What You Need

• Minimum 2 years' forklift operating experience
• Current OSH Forklift Certificate
• Current F Endorsement
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Good communication and time management skills
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
