Job summary

Auckland City NZF 2025 Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operations Assistant in Auckland. You will perform picking, packing and dispatch, support warehouse operations, decanting and stock management, and assist with shop activities.

The role offers hands-on experience in a small team, with a focus on health and safety, accuracy, and reliability in a busy operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' general work experience.
• Able to lift heavy items between 10kg and 20kg regularly.
• Able to safely handle heavier items (40kg, 50kg) using team lifting or equipment.
• Ability to use standard IT tools for business and online apps.
• Ability to complete high volumes of work under pressure with accuracy.

Job Description

Our Warehouse Operations Assistant:

• pick, packs and dispatches orders to our online and trades customers
• supports warehousing activities like inwards, labelling, decanting and stock management

The Job:

• Picking, Packing and Dispatch
• Support Warehouse Operations
• Support Decanting Activities
• Support Operational Activities
• Be Health & Safety Aware & Active
• Support Shop Activities

The Hours:

• 30 per week made up as
  • Monday to Thursday 9:30-3.30pm and Friday 9:30-2
• Some flexibility on start and finish times available
• Note: contract will include rostered Saturday shifts once per month once competent in the role

Must Haves:

• 3+ years' general work experience
• Ability to lift heavy items over 10kg and under 20kg regularly throughout the day
• Ability to safely handle heavier items (40kg, 50kg and over) using team lifting techniques or mechanical handling equipment.
• Ability to use standard IT tools for business, computer, laptop, tablet, phone and associated software/ on line apps.
• Ability to complete high volumes of work under pressure with accuracy

Nice to Haves:

• 2+ years’ work experience in warehousing, dispatching, logistics or similar field
• Certificate level (or higher) qualifications in warehousing, logistics or similar field
• Clean Class 1 Full Drivers Licence
• F endorsement on Drivers Licence
• MPI Accredited Person status

Other Red Tape:

• Must have good enough MOJ checks - no dishonesty, drug or crimes against a person convictions
• Drug testing may be a required (and is part of the contract if successful)
