Job summary

Bonson Industrial Co. Ltd. in New Lynn, Auckland, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. You will support daily warehouse operations, receive and check goods, pick and pack orders, and operate a forklift to move products safely.

This full-time role offers a friendly environment, onsite parking, and opportunities to develop your skills within an industry-leading food packaging company. Ideal candidates have prior warehouse experience and a current forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and transfer incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload and move products around the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stocktakes.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and warehouse areas remain clean, tidy and organised.
• Transfer products between warehouse, production and dispatch areas as required.
• Check product descriptions, quantities, labels and packaging to ensure order accuracy.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with the Customer Service team to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and other issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as required.

Position: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: New Lynn, Auckland

About the Role

Reporting to the Customer Services & Warehouse Supervisor, you will work closely with the Warehouse and Customer Service teams to support the smooth and efficient running of our daily warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include receiving and checking incoming goods, picking and preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate stock records, operating a forklift, and ensuring products are stored, transferred and dispatched safely and accurately.

This is an important role that requires attention to detail, reliability and a strong team focus. For the right person, this is also an opportunity to develop new skills and grow their career within an established and growing business.

Previous warehouse experience and a current forklift licence are highly desirable.
