Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited in Onehunga, Auckland, is seeking a Warehouse Services Assistant Team Member to help keep our warehouse running smoothly. You will receive stock, pick and pack orders, load deliveries, and work with forklifts in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy warehouse setting.
• Commitment to accuracy when picking, packing and loading orders.
• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures.
• Experience or interest in forklift operation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receiving and checking incoming stock, including domestic and international shipments.
• Assisting with container unloads and MPI compliance processes.
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and lifting devices.
• Maintaining an organised, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory accuracy.
• Providing excellent service to customers collecting products from the branch.

About The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse operating efficiently and safely. From receiving stock and unloading containers to picking customer orders and loading deliveries, no two days are exactly the same.

Day-to-Day You'll Be

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time
• Receiving and checking incoming stock, including domestic and international shipments
• Assisting with container unloads and MPI compliance processes
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and lifting devices

• Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, trade, or distribution experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Forklift experience or licence (preferred but training can be provided for the right person)
