Job summary

Waiheke Bus Company, part of Fullers360, is seeking fixed-term bus drivers to cover the busy summer period on Waiheke Island. 20 hours per week with 5 of 7 days, including weekends and public holidays, starting early October 2026 through April 2027.

Applicants must hold NZ Class 2 or 4 licence with P endorsement, have right to work in NZ, and possess strong communication and safety record. Perks include free ferry travel and free island bus travel. Rostered shifts from 5am to 1am daily.

Qualifications

• Must hold class 2 or 4 licence with P endorsement.
• Must have right to work in NZ.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Excellent driving record and safety adherence.
• Previous tour driving experience.
• Rostered 5 of 7 days, including weekends/public holidays.
• Live on Waiheke Island or willing to commute to Ostend depot.
• Fixed-term, part-time role for 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive urban or tour coaches on Waiheke Island.
• Deliver excellent customer service to commuters and visitors.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete pre-employment screening and background checks.
