Job summary

Natural Grocers is seeking a Vitamin/Body Care Assistant to support the Vitamin and Body Care Managers in daily operations and department profitability. You will ensure excellent customer experiences, maintain stock levels, and assist with ordering, merchandising, and cashier duties.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, with a 40-hour week. Prior retail or vitamins experience is preferred, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year retail or grocery experience preferred; natural foods background is a plus.
• 1 year supervising others preferred.
• 1 year vitamins/supplements experience preferred.
• Pass food safety training and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist department managers with ordering and inventory; maintain stock levels and accuracy.
• Help manage margins, drive sales and department profitability.
• Merchandise shelves and displays; assist with tagging, facing, and backstock.
• Handle register duties, returns, and cash handling; support opening/closing tasks.
