Hawera Eyecare is relocating to a brand new High Street practice and seeks an enthusiastic Receptionist/Optical Assistant to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. You will be the first point of contact for many patients and play a key role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring patients leave with the best possible vision solutions.

In this role you will assist patients with eyewear selection and optical dispensing, manage paperwork and scheduling, handle transactions and insurance claims,

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with vision care needs, including eyewear selection, adjustments and optical dispensing.
• Manage and process paperwork efficiently and accurately.
• Handle busy appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow.
• Utilize strong numerical skills for handling transactions, insurance claims and optical prescriptions.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
• Think on your feet to solve problems and address patient concerns swiftly.
• Day to day practice upkeep such as maintaining a functional, clean and professional environment.
• Work in a health setting - maintain professionalism and discretion in all patient interactions, along with managing and protecting sensitive patient information.
