Job summary

Oscar Wylee is seeking an Optical Dispenser for our Wellington Willis Street store, blending fashion retail with professional eye care. You will help customers select frames that suit their personal style while ensuring accurate vision and prescriptions.

You will dispense lenses and frames based on optometrists' prescriptions, build trusting relationships with patients, and assist with opening and closing duties. A strong focus on service and teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in the optical industry, or 2+ years retail sales experience.
• Reliable with previous experience in store opening/closing duties.
• Strong attention to detail with basic mathematical skills.
• A confident, clear and proactive worker with strong communication skills.
• Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships with co-workers and customers alike.
• A go-getter with a positive and friendly manner, ready to provide customers with outstanding service!
• Needs to be available to work Sundays and Mondays.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding eye care and eyewear styling advice tailored to each patient and potential clientele who enter the store.
