Job summary

Mt. Beautiful in Cheviot, North Canterbury, seeks hands-on cellar and laboratory staff to process estate fruit and support winemaking. You’ll work across fruit intake, sampling and vinification with a small, energetic team.

Key duties include running the laboratory, assisting in wine production and barrel management, with opportunities to learn about our vineyard techniques. Aimed at practical, hardworking individuals with a strong team spirit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 vintages experience.
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Laboratory experience essential for the lab role.
• Good team player and willing to share ideas.
• Own vehicle is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Run the Laboratory and assist with cellar tasks.
• Participate in fruit intake, sampling, vinification and barrel management.
• Collaborate with a multi-national team and contribute ideas.
