Delegat Limited in Hawke's Bay is seeking a Vintage Cellar Hand for the 2027 vintage. You will join an advanced winery and work from grape receival through fermentation management, clarification, and cooperage operations.

The contract runs from early February to late April 2027 with 12-hour days, six to seven days a week and regular days off. Accommodation meals and in-house training are provided, with uniform and transport arranged.

Delegat has earned a reputation as one of New Zealand's leading wine producers, achieving global success with its Oyster Bay brand. We focus exclusively on making the world's most sought-after Super-Premium wines and have invested heavily in modern technology and facilities. Delegat Hawke's Bay winery is an advanced facility with a 10,000-tonne capacity, well equipped for processing Merlot, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay varieties, all of which are harvested locally.

The opportunity

We are seeking dynamic and motivated people to join our team for vintage 2027.

Our Vintage Cellar Hands are involved in various winemaking and cellar operations from grape receival through to fermentation management, clarification, and cooperage operations.

Employment would commence early February 2027 through to late April 2027. Peak work patterns will consist of 12 hours per day, six to seven days per week, with regular days off provided.
