Job summary

Delegat Marlborough winery is seeking dynamic team members for a rewarding vintage experience. Vintage Cellar Hands will participate in winemaking tasks, including grape receival, pressing, and fermentation management, across red and white wines.

Roles run from late February 2027 to mid-April 2027, with some extension to May 2027. Shifts are up to 12 hours daily, six days a week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay ranges from NZD 26.50 to 31.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Team player with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with energy for a dynamic harvest environment.
• Previous cellar experience is desirable but keen learners are welcome.
• Experience in winemaking or cellar operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grape receival and pressing.
• Clarification and inoculation processes.
• Fermentation management of red and white wines.
• Cooperage operations.
• General cellar work, transfers and additions.
