Job summary

Summerset Retirement Villages in Nelson is seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team. You will maintain and enhance the grounds of our village, including planting, pruning, mowing, and hedge maintenance, to provide a welcoming outdoor space for residents and visitors.

This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The successful candidate will be organised, physically fit and enjoy working as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Love of gardening with proven experience.
• Passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
• Warm, friendly personality to chat with residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance village grounds: planting, pruning, bedding and seasonal planting, lawn mowing, landscaping and hedge maintenance.
• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day garden maintenance.
• Be organised, efficient and physically fit to deliver high service levels.
