Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Birkenhead Auckland is seeking a dedicated Gardener to join our Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, in a resort-style setting designed for residents, their families and staff to enjoy.

You will maintain gardens, service grounds for safety and appearance, and work closely with colleagues to deliver beautiful outdoor spaces across bowling greens and water features.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Gardener/Landscaper role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain our gardens in a resort-style setting for residents, families and staff.
• Service the grounds to ensure a great appearance and safety of all areas.
• Enjoy variety with features like a bowling green, water features and residential/shared spaces.
• Work closely with and support colleagues.
