Job summary

Alstom is seeking an intern to apply technical problem‑solving in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work with collaborative teammates on a global mobility platform, focusing on T&C docs, interfaces, and testing across project phases.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in engineering or equivalent in computer science or telecoms.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, databases and messaging.
  • Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting approaches.
  • Experience with programming or scripting for debugging/automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Jira or DevOps is a plus.
  • Strong, clear communication of technical concepts to non‑technical users.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production of T&C documentation (Procedures, Reports, Punch List).
  • Interface with project entities and manage various stakeholders.
  • Witness and coordinate system tests, plan site tests.
  • Create and execute action plans for system malfunctions to hit performance targets.
  • Manage system configuration across testing phases.
  • Maintain frequent updates with the Project Commissioning Manager on progress and issues.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and problem‑solving expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward‑thinking teammates.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the production of the T&C documentation (T&C Procedures, T&C Reports, Punch List management)
  • Handle interfaces with the various different entities involved on the project
  • Witness and perform specific tests on the system, including plan and coordinate the site tests
  • Create and run action plans corresponding to malfunctioning of the system, aiming to reach the performances targets
  • Manage the system configuration during the successive tests phases
  • Keep in frequent communication to the Project Commissioning Manager regarding T&C progress and issue resolution.
