Job summary

Teletrac Navman is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in New Zealand to manage end-to-end recruitment for a 12-month fixed-term contract. • Manage end-to-end recruitment across the organisation from requisition to onboarding.

• Identify and resolve recruitment challenges to ensure timely hires.

• Assist with job descriptions and advertisements; support sourcing and pipeline development.
• Coordinate onboarding activities including checks and new starter documentation.
• Serve as a trusted contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to manage end-to-end recruitment and deliver an exceptional hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. About The Role

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, provide recruitment expertise, and ensure we attract and secure the best talent. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while maintaining a strong focus on candidate experience, process excellence, and compliance. This role requires someone who can balance multiple priorities, proactively solve problems, and confidently influence hiring outcomes while delivering a seamless recruitment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles, from requisition through to onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand business requirements, scope roles, and provide recruitment advice and guidance
• Coordinate and manage candidate screening, interview scheduling, assessment processes, and stakeholder communications
• Deliver a positive candidate experience through clear, responsive, and professional communication
• Identify and resolve recruitment challenges, ensuring timely hiring outcomes
• Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (currently Taleo)
• Ensure recruitment activities align with internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Assist with drafting and refining position descriptions and job advertisements
• Support sourcing initiatives and talent pipeline development, particularly for difficult-to-fill positions
• Manage offer preparation, approvals, and employment documentation
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including reference and background checks, new starter documentation, and onboarding logistics
• Act as a trusted point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Recruitment Coordination, or a similar role
• Exposure to full-cycle recruitment and candidate management
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The confidence to build relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of the organisation
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a strong sense of ownership
• High attention to detail and commitment to process accuracy
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, with Taleo experience highly regarded
• Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
